Two Doors Monarch Butterfly Habitat

This is a professional portable pop-up house designed for the rearing and breeding of butterflies, praying mantises, and other bugs. The professional version of the butterfly enclosure is square in shape, ensuring stability and minimizing movement. When unfolded, the pavilion measures 15.7 x 15.7 x 24 inches. The butterfly growing kit includes a Butterfly Habitat Terrarium and a Quick Start Guide manual.

Here are some instructions for using the butterfly enclosure: 1. When opening the large and tall monarch butterfly tents, be careful as they may unexpectedly pop open. Ensure that you have enough space and no breakable objects nearby. 2. The PVC side may be creased from folding when you first open the net cage. Remove the creases by blow drying the PVC with a hairdryer for about 5 minutes or place it in the warm sun to relax the wrinkles. 3. Always close the cage door properly, ensuring that the zippers meet at the top center. This will allow you to easily open the other side if a caterpillar is blocking the zipper. 4. Clean the mesh cage after a disease outbreak or at the end of the season by soaking it in a 5% bleach solution (19 parts water to 1 part bleach) for approximately 20 minutes. You can soak the cage in a tub or laundry tub. 5. Rinse the butterfly garden with water and let it dry in the sun. Hang it on a clothesline or place a rock on the floor to prevent it from blowing away. 6. When folding the cage for storage, press one corner inwards while placing your hands on the opposite upper corners of the cage. This will enable you to fold the cage flat. 7. Store the cage flat in a closet, under a bed, or behind a couch. Two side opening doors (Door and Drawbridge opening doors) make it easier to feed your butterflies and clean the frass. The polyester bottom also facilitates easier cleaning. Please note that the tubes and rack are not included.

The butterfly enclosure features five mesh panels for good airflow and a clear vinyl window panel that provides students and families with an unforgettable opportunity to observe caterpillars transforming into chrysalides and then emerging as beautiful Monarch, Painted Lady, or Black Swallowtail Butterflies. It has a collapsible design for easy storage and can be reused. When unfolded, it can hold up to two large milkweed plants. The design ensures that the wings of a new butterfly are not at risk of breaking when trying to stir up movement. Additionally, the enclosure has a large zipper side opening, making it convenient to feed the butterflies and release them into the wild. Often, butterflies will land on little hands and faces before taking flight. The kit also includes a quick start guide manual to assist in raising butterflies.
