Introducing the new and improved School Kit Refill, designed to provide educators and students with the ultimate STEM learning experience. Teachers absolutely love it! This refill is specifically for our popular School Kit, allowing each student to witness the day-to-day development and transformation of their very own caterpillar. It truly is an unforgettable experience for both students and educators.

What makes this kit truly unique is the inclusion of 2-ounce individual cups for each caterpillar. This ensures the utmost comfort for these little creatures and is the only classroom butterfly raising kit that offers this feature. We're proud to say that all our caterpillars are proudly grown in the USA.

Before you start growing, please note that this kit does not include a habitat. However, you can easily purchase a butterfly pavilion habitat separately. Additionally, it's important to check the temperature. The best time to embark on this project is when daytime temperatures in your area range between 55-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Please also be aware that we are unable to ship live insects to Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO, FPO, or DPO addresses.

Now, let's talk about the features included in the kit. We have added hook and loop fasteners to conveniently affix the mini cup lids (with the caterpillars attached) to the inside of your mesh butterfly habitat. This ensures easy access and secure placement. Additionally, we have included an Insect Lore spoon and knife for simple food measuring.

In terms of quantity, you'll receive 33 2-ounce mini cups with lids, a feeding dropper, a STEM Journal filled with exciting classroom activities, and 33 baby caterpillars in one large cup. To supply all 33 caterpillars until they transform into butterflies, we provide you with 10 ounces of nutritious caterpillar growth food. We have also included a transfer brush for easy handling.

Lastly, please make sure to read the in-depth Butterfly Pavilion School Kit Instructions that are included with your purchase. You can also download a copy of these instructions for easy reference. Additionally, our "READ ME" document contains helpful tips for raising caterpillars.

At Insect Lore, the Original Butterflies-by-Mail Company®, we guarantee that at least 20 out of the 33 caterpillars will develop into healthy butterflies. These caterpillars are Painted Lady butterflies, each delivered in their own 2-ounce cup with a lid. We also provide 64 sets of hook and loop fasteners and a STEM Butterfly Journal for an enriching learning experience.
